My life is coming together behind closed doors as I deal with challenges I do not discuss, so I write about them word by word. I am creating chapter after chapter, trying to heal the parts of me that affect me as a whole person.
Being the illustrator, editor, and the sole author of my autobiography, I write my story. The story of my life has endured four chapters thus far.

Each chapter started with high hopes, but facing adversity forced me to deal with setbacks that required me to form a plan to help me overcome the current season I was in. As I turn the pages, I am slowly finding my peace. I realize I will never be at peace if I rush to fix the pieces that have shattered over the years. Ultimately, being willing to face everything I ran from in the past allowed me to have the one thing I could never be given by others, only earned after I emerged from the fires I was meant to survive: redemption. You can never be a survivor until you have faced and made peace with the things you felt would cause your demise.
