3164The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) received a request from the United Automobile, Aerospace & Agricultural Implement Workers of America to evaluate exposure to metalworking fluids (MWFs) at an aircraft engine manufacturing facility in Ohio. The requestors were concerned about possible health hazards from a new MWF formulation. NIOSH's findings and recommendations are discussed.
