From the moment a man first considers asking about Masonry, he enters a process that is both deliberate and meaningful. He learns that membership is not automatic. A petition must be submitted. Fellow Masons will investigate his character. The lodge will vote. If accepted, he will take part in ceremonies that have shaped the fraternity for generations.
Along the way, he begins to understand that Freemasonry is not simply an organization to join. It is a tradition that teaches lessons about character, responsibility, and brotherhood.
