Life was created to function on rules. But many people are ignorant of this truth. That's why only a few folks are truly living in the real sense of the word. The rest of the people are merely existing. Until you discover the Rules of Life and begin to order your life accordingly, you won't get the best that life has to offer. Life responds positively only to those who live by the rules. The discovery of the Rules of Life and their proper application marks the beginning of life for those who indulge. Where there's no law, people remain low. Thus, the Rules of Life are the real stuff life is made of. Dr. David Oyedepo once said, To be lawless is to be lifeless. Only the lawful become faithful and helpful. It is awful not to be lawful. To be ruleless is to be rudderless. Only the ruled become rulers! For instance, Rule #1 states that You're Not SERIOUS In Life Until You're STUDIOUS In Life while Rule #2 states that You Can't UNDERTAKE What You Don't UNDERSTAND. According to Rule #12, Those Who Wait For PERFECT BEGINNINGS Only End Up PERFECTING The BEGINNINGS. The Rules of Life #13 and #15 state that, Low CAPACITY Is Exposed During CALAMITY, and A Church That Is Not For SPIRITUALITY Is For CRIMINALITY, respectively. In the same vein, Rule #17 states that You'll Only Bear Rule When You Obey Rules.
Whereas Rule #19 states that You Don't Have to Be YOUTHFUL To Be USEFUL, Rule #20 states that Your Spiritual CONSISTENCY Is What Guarantees Your Spiritual CONSTITUENCY. This first volume of 20 Rules is a chronicle of divinely-inspired quotes which I call, the Rules of Life. They are tablets of wisdom packaged in words to give direction to every department of your life. They can best be described with the words of the Holy Book which says A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. They will help guide your day-to-day activities towards achievement and success, joy and happiness, good health and vitality as well as sound mentality and robust spirituality. Do yourself some good by studying them meticulously, meditating on them studiously, and applying them appropriately, as explained, for effective and productive living.
