changes: common, benign alterations involving cysts, connective
tissue, glands, ducts, and cells. They may produce tenderness,
fullness, lumpiness, or abnormal imaging findings, but in most
women they are not life-threatening. At the same time, persistent or unusual breast changes deserve
thoughtful medical evaluation. This book does not replace the
