As you read this book you will identify with Jesus as he lives out one of his worst days, that began with a party gone wild. You will empathize with the emotions brought on by this party and, you will be astonished at how he turns it into one of the most famous, miraculous parties of all time. Jesus wants us to experience the great joy that comes as we surrender our pain and sorrows to him.
Connie shares personal stories of disappointment and grief turned to jubilation. As you read you will find yourself getting free of thought patterns and emotions that you have been stuck in. What are you waiting for? The Party is HERE! Connie's style has been described as one that makes you laugh hard as the knife goes in to cut out decay that is replaced with new purpose. Reviews: Connie asked two of the people who know her best and have lived these stories with her to give their thoughts. Have you ever met somebody who despite any circumstances finds a way to be joyful and live life to the fullest? My mom is that person. Through her book The Party is HERE she shares life lessons and examples of how to overcome some of life's most difficult challenges. As you read, you will laugh, empathize, cry and most of all be encouraged to know that following Jesus is a marvelous journey.
-Lance Ainsworth, Executive Pastor, Gateway Church of Visalia. California & Author of Wilderness Generation When Mary heard she was going to become the mother of the savior of the world she responded with 'be it unto me according to your word' (Luke 1:37-38). Through trials, frustration and doubts. Connie has written a book that will put a smile on your face and joy in your heart as she relates real stories on the subject of what to do when your worst day happens. In my opinion, (I am a little biased since I am her husband), Connie has tackled this book like Mary did with the news that she was going to be the mother of Jesus. They were both filled with the 'already' while living in the 'not yet'. As this dream has unfolded and come to pass, I know that you will come away a better person filled with faith for tomorrow.
-Ed Ainsworth, Pastor, Generations Church, Lubbock, Texas & President of Leadership Institute, Lubbock, Texas
