In times like these, with everyone facing their own challenges, migration being a hot topic, and opinions being given all over the place, we're all trying to focus on how we can make the world better for those who come after us. Rachel Alao has the insight: simply take time to reach out to a newcomer and help make his or her life better.
As an immigrant to Canada, Rachel brings her experience as a counsellor and overseer of educational programs for newcomers and their families, helping hundreds of thousands of new Canadians feel at home in the city of Winnipeg.
Through the stories of her successes in Canada and reaching out to people just like her, she offers tips on how those born and raised in Canada can open their hearts to those who have arrived from another country, coupled with truth and evidence of their wish to assimilate and settle successfully. Her points on how they can educate themselves and why will make readers think about their own lives, and how reaching out to a newcomer soul who needs their wisdom just might be the self-improvement experience they need. If it has reaped rewards for her, it can do the same for you, too.
Rachel's tireless dedication and passion for this issue are evident throughout this piece. Her writing style, educational and informative without being preachy, is guaranteed to keep readers interested until the last page.
