Following Sustainable Agricultural and Forestry Production in Ultisols I (Rice and Beans in Panama, Tropical America) in this part II, we explain the valuable results in the cultivation of tuber crops, forestry and livestock production with the silvopastoral system in an Ultisol of Panama. Currently, primary natural forests are being cleared and burned in tropical countries to advance livestock production by grazing. At the same time, the land abandoned by overgrazing is advancing, decreasing the fertility of the land used. It is very important to establish sustainable livestock production, introducing the silvopastoral system, the cultivation of grasses associated with legumes and prevent inadequate deforestation. As a use of Ultisol, it is very important to introduce tubers as starch material. In addition, it can be applied to regions with acidic and infertile soils such as Eastern Plains, Amazon, Cerrados...etc. for the results. Hopefully it will be used as educational material in addition to Part I for this book.
