We live in a world with so much stimuli that we have trouble focusing on the most important needle moving activities. We have to reverse some of the common rules like being available to everyone all the time is a good thing. Systems are more powerful than willpower because they allow us to sustain for the long haul without overwhelm and burnout. The new powers are
1/ AI Fluency to reduce work, not increase it.
2/ Priorities that create deep work and focus during our high energy periods.
3/ Living a Calm life to increase cognitive and creative output.
The new world may be Silicone vs Carbon. Silicone is all the fancy technologies and algorithms. Carbon is the human factor more necessary than ever to guide, monitor, correct, and implement the fastest thinking system ever created in AI. As everyone learns to use AI, it becomes less of an advantage and the human who can perform at their optimum becomes more of a competitive advantage. In the long run, humans will still be the most valuable resource.
