About the Author:G. Varun Yadav is an engineering graduate and a dedicated researcher in the traditional martial art of Kalaripayattu. He has been practicing Kalaripayattu since 2011. He is a disciple of Shri. Jawahar Gurukkal (Guruvayoor) and Shri. Ranjan Mullaratt Gurukkal (Bangalore).
Over the years, he has also explored various styles of Silambam, Grappling, and Kuthuvarisai and in 2016, he earned a national-level gold medal in Pro-Amateur Muay Thai Kickboxing.
Currently, he serves as the lead instructor at his martial arts institute, KALARI SADHANA: MYSURU, located in Mysuru, Karnataka.
