The recipes in this book are a compilation of recipes that my mother had in an old shirt box held close by a bright red rubber band. The recipes inside the box were cut out of old newspapers yellowed by age, on the back of shopping list, notebook paper, stationary, post cards, and bits of scrap paper. It's amazing how looking through the box brought back so many memories. I hope these recipes create great memories for your family, too.
This cookbook is designed to inspire and guide you in creating delicious meals right in the comfort of your own kitchen. Whether you are a seasoned home cook or just starting out, this cookbook will provide you with a collection of tried-and-true recipes, helpful tips, and creative ideas to elevate your home cooking experience.
I also added in information for general home care, home remedies, information about hobby farming and a little gardening thrown in for good measure.
