The book also explores the darkest and most difficult moments, those in which I faced abuse, pain, and despair. Throughout Challenges, I share how self-love and faith in God were fundamental to my survival and my ability to overcome the hardest times. These pages are filled with examples of how spirituality and connection with something greater than oneself can provide the necessary strength to overcome any obstacle. DesafÃos emphasizes the importance of finding that inner strength and never losing hope, no matter how desperate the situation may seem.
Challenges is also a tribute to all the people who supported me along my journey, and who offered their love and friendship in the most crucial moments.
