Mentorship cannot be overemphasized, for you to progress far in your life journey; you need a committed mentor. Nobody is an island, no one can succeed all by himself and so we need mentors to guide us.
Without an earthly reachable person, who is willing and available to offer you spiritual, emotional or other forms of tutelage; you may encounter delays or even avoidable difficulties in your life. If care is not taken those things can destroy the fruits of all you have laboured for.
You may never rise if you neglect the ministry of men. You need a good mentor, not any individual. The twelve disciples were mentored by our Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Apostle Paul mentored Timothy and other disciples.
In Sports, even some of the greatests also had Mentors; Christiano Ronaldo had a Mentor in Sir Alex Ferguson while the Serena tennis Sensations had a Mentor in their Father.
The role of a Mentor is indeed an indispensable factor in the rise of a person.
