They also remind us of something we sometimes forget while pursuing success, recognition, or wealth:
A human life has value long before the world decides how much it is worth.
Perhaps we cannot change where we began.
Perhaps we cannot erase everything that has happened to us.
But we can decide what we will do with the life that remains before us.
Because understanding our past is not the end of the journey.
It may be the beginning of living with greater compassion, humility, gratitude, and responsibility.
