Vance, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and nationally self-syndicated newspaper columnist who wrote Disabilities from 2002-17, gives both an intensely personal and a professional view of trying to beat his own PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) caused by a car accident that took the lives of his parents when Vance was 7.
