MS does not kill you, so she had to find a way to not only live with this progressive and debilitating illness... but to embrace it.
It has been Shirley's faith in God and the very close personal relationship she has with Him that has enabled her to not succumb to depression, remain strong and positive, be an overcomer, and never give up. She holds her head up high, living her life with the beautiful smile the Lord gave her. She is more than surviving. She is thriving and enjoying life!
