Some people are given everything and still manage to fail. Some are given nothing and are able to succeed. Is there a recipe for success? Is there a recipe for overcoming adversity? From the eyes of an Asian immigrant comes a candid story of one man's journey through bullying, cultural barriers, and the emotional instabilities throughout his growing years in America. Three Broken Promises, is an emotional journey of the author's relationship with the three people that were closest to him (his best friend, his brother, and the one he loved), and the lessons he learned from them. I have, in my humble conclusion, realized that the greatest war of humanity has been and will always be a spiritual one. Our great depressions are those who choose to live their lives as if there are no other choices.
