A deeply personal journey of emotional healing, self-love, and rediscovering the strength that was there all along:
The Light You Are Looking for Is You is an honest, intimate, and courageous personal development book about learning to rise again after life has broken you open.
Sergilia Dănescu begins with a painful experience of professional bullying, betrayal, emotional exhaustion, and the collapse of her self-confidence. What follows is not a theoretical manual, but the lived story of a woman who slowly rebuilds herself-from convalescence to inner freedom-through self-awareness, spiritual exploration, forgiveness, acceptance, and the deliberate practice of self-love.
With warmth, directness, and emotional sincerity, the author shares the methods and experiences that helped her along the way: meditation, Reiki, somatic exercises, Recall Healing, Family Constellations, ancestral healing, the power of the mind, and the daily discipline of choosing a better inner reality. At the heart of the book stands one powerful realization: we do not attract what we want; we attract what we are. And when we begin to heal, accept, and truly value ourselves, life begins to change.
This book is also a tribute to roots, ancestors, family lines, and the invisible burdens we may carry without knowing it. Through her own story, Sergilia Dănescu shows how healing is never only personal. It can also become an act of love for our children, for future generations, and for the parts of ourselves that were once afraid, silenced, or forgotten.
Written for readers who feel tired, lost, wounded, or disconnected from themselves, The Light You Are Looking for Is You offers encouragement rather than judgment, testimony rather than doctrine, and hope rather than easy promises.
It is a book for anyone who has ever wondered whether they can begin again.
And its answer is simple:
Yes.
The light you are looking for has been within you all along.
