The Closed Door, Open Window chronicles the emotional journey of Elema, a high school pianist, as she grapples with the terminal stage 4 cancer diagnosis of her beloved older sister, Chloe. The play follows Elema through her stages of grief, from initial denial and anger towards the unfairness of the situation to a gradual, painful acceptance. Her path is shaped by poignant flashbacks of her and Chloe's close bond and concludes with a message about hope.
