Each one carries the exact same wound as the mentor he impersonates, which is why he sounds so reasonable when he talks. You will recognize them. Some of them have been running your decisions for years.
Fifty-three chapters across eight parts: the lies you inherited, identity and purpose, accountability and recovery, love and heartbreak, fatherhood and family, money and work, friendship and brotherhood, and the philosophy of being a man.
Every chapter is built the same way. A scene from a real life. The mentors arguing it out. How it shows up in your actual week. Then the work, and one concrete thing to do before Sunday.
This is not a book about becoming unbreakable. It was written by a man who lost a career to a broken back, a marriage he did not choose to end, and the daily presence of his two daughters, and who started over at a friend's kitchen counter with a borrowed laptop.
