This study aims to identify and assess the morphological diversity of Phillyrea angustifolia L. in Algeria, based on leaves collected from three sites: Sétif, Khenchela, and Constantine. At each site, 30 trees were randomly selected, and 30 leaves were collected from each tree. Fifteen morphological characters-nine quantitative and six qualitative-were analyzed. The statistical results show highly significant differences between populations and within a single population. Multivariate analysis allowed the studied populations to be classified into two distinct groups. This significant morphological variability is believed to be linked to the influence of geographic, climatic, and biological factors.
