Dr. McLean's journey began with her extensive work at North Carolina Central University where her fascination with human development was ignited, followed by earning a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development from the University of North Carolina (Charlotte) with honors. Her academic excellence propelled her to Hampton University, where she earned her Master's in Teaching Degree and her Doctorate of Education in Higher Education Administration. She pursued her doctoral studies as a Grandma at Morgan State University. Dr. Marsha Carter McLean's legacy is not only defined by her remarkable contributions to teacher education but also by her visionary work in promoting cross-generational bonds through Grandmas2.0. Her dedication to both educational advancement and societal enrichment exemplifies the profound impact one individual can have on our world.
