Wisdom, which helps us discern what is good, bad, or indifferent.
Fulfillment, a deep and lasting happiness that does not depend on external circumstances.
Love, not as a wild emotion, but as a conscious act of appreciating virtue in others and walking the path of universal compassion.
Acceptance, which means recognizing and embracing reality, focusing on our virtuous response rather than on frustration.
Stoic Week is a book of practical teachings that will change your life. One of the most important is this: to change your life, you must learn to think clearly. Stoic Week is also the result of my own personal journey. I made the decision to let my life be guided by the power of Stoicism-by the proverbs, Stoic quotes, and deep reflections of Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus, and other ancient masters. I've turned them into everyday Stoicism, bringing them to life with emotional clarity and a modern perspective.
