Smallholder Agriculture and Climate Change is one of the research topics that the CEPDEL association began addressing in 2014 with the aim of contributing to agriculture that is better adapted to climate change. The goal of this action research is to propose appropriate solutions to help agriculture better adapt to climate variations in the Bafou Nord region. The objective of the work carried out as part of this study is to help develop effective methods for adapting smallholder agriculture to climate variations. The focus is on: - Conducting a comprehensive analysis of smallholder agriculture in Bafou Nord; - Analyzing the impacts of climate variations on smallholder agriculture; - Identifying and analyzing local practices used by farmers to adapt to climate variations; - Proposing appropriate solutions to help farmers better adapt to climate variations. The work contained in this report is a sort of message in a bottle intended for all stakeholders involved in the agricultural sector of the Bafou Nord region in particular and Cameroon in general. It opens up new horizons for the future.
