This is an account of our journey navigating autism with our daughter, Victoria. Through trial and error, we discover practical strategies that help her make simple connections to our world. She went form being a non-verbal toddler who preferred playing alone and had difficulty with many things we take for granted, to being a communicative seven year old who is able to better regulate her emotions and connect with us. On this journey, I share with you the ups and downs, as well as the wonderful ways in which we have learned to interact with our daughter and bring her out of her world into ours.
Journey with me and my daughter toward a compassionate way of learning and connecting. She has taught us to see through her eyes in order to better understand and help her. In these pages you will find gentle tools to help you and your child navigate autism. You can start right away by using easy to follow exercises for day to day activities.
