Where you expect to find God you may be surprised, and where you don't expect to find God, you may also be surprised. She reveals to the reader her experiences of 'being surprised.' But this author's primary message is that God is not a hidden God, and it is Jesus who tells us that where there is love there is God. God is here - in our loving, in our caring, in our generosity and more. God is always with us - even when we are conscious of our failure, our sin and when everything seems to be going wrong, God does not give up on us.
