This study presents a partial analysis (during the spring season) of vegetation cover dynamics at three different sites located in the Nefzaoua natural region (desert region of Tunisia). Variations in vegetation cover, floristic composition, density, height, and diameter were observed at the three sites. The following main results were obtained from this study: Each site is characterized by its own unique floristic composition, which differs in terms of the abundance of annuals and perennials from one area to another. Climatic and edaphic conditions, which vary from one region to another, play a very important role and influence vegetation cover dynamics. The use of protective measures proved to be generally beneficial for the various parameters assessed.
