The parrot is always talking, always chatting. It cannot keep its mouth shut. The parrot is shut up in a cage and people use it as a source of entertainment.
The eagle is without speech, but it flies freely and dominates the sky.
Some people are like parrots. They are talkative, they keep chattering, telling everyone everything, exposing their plans, their goals, their next big move. They tell people their secrets thereby placing themselves in the hands of their enemies and people who hate them. When you tell people your plans you give them information which becomes ammunition in their hands to attack and destroy you. But these people wonder why their plans keep failing and their goals do not become a reality. They don't understand that they are behind their own misfortune, they are the ones orchestrating their own calamity, they are the malevolent power behind their own ruin.
They don't understand that every misfortune in their life is as a result of something they said, something they told someone; a secret divulged, a plan uncovered. They don't understand that the more they keep telling people about their plans, the more they will be attacked and sabotaged by envious and evil people who will never be happy to see them successful and make progress in life.
But they never make the connection between their senseless chattering and their misfortunes and near misses at success. They never hold themselves accountable for ruining their own opportunities, ruining their own chances and ruining their own lives. They blame everybody else but themselves. But like the talkative parrot, they will remain locked in a cage of mediocrity, poverty and failure until they learn to keep silent like the eagle and soar.
The eagle is the opposite of the parrot. It doesn't chatter carelessly like the parrot. It keeps its mouth shut, focuses on its objectives, spreads its wings, soars and dominates the sky. Be like the eagle. Stop telling everyone what you want to do, what you want to accomplish, what you want to own and possess. Keep your mouth shut. Keep your plans private. Do the necessary work that life demands of you and manifest your goals by creating and delivering great value.
Stop chattering like a parrot.
Keep your plans private. Move in silence and soar like the eagle.

Do the work. Accomplish great things.
