In a world where media and popular culture decide what is hot and not, modesty is timeless and beautiful. Modesty is more than covering up or following the rules. Modern life's pressures and the need to be the centre of attention don't stop the call to modesty. It reminds us that our look reflects our character and self-esteem. We must balance our individuality with modesty to maintain a humble demeanour. Propriety allows originality and distinctiveness. This is not a call to forgo expression, creativity or dress unimaginatively, but to develop new methods to express ourselves while displaying unity with common values. Modesty doesn't necessitate uniformity, but we must evaluate how our clothing's neckline, hemline, and fit reflect our beliefs.
