Step into the golden Savannah and discover a story of kindness, courage, and the extraordinary journey of surrogacy in A Lion's Tale: Luna's Promise, a heartwarming children's book about surrogacy for kids aged 4-8 years old. Not only is this book perfect for surrogates to read with their children to help them understand the process, it also make a fabulous story for all children to help them understand how different families are formed.
Luna the Lioness lives a happy life with her playful cubs, Lulu and Luka. But everything changes the day they meet two sad lions, Leo and Lani, who dream of a cub of their own but cannot grow one themselves. With gentle hearts and big ideas, Lulu and Luka inspire their mummy to do something incredibly special, something that will change all of their lives forever.
In this tender, heart-warming tale, Luna makes a promise: she will carry Leo and Lani's baby cub in her tummy and keep the little one safe until the day they become a family. As the cub grows, the lions share cuddles, stories, and sunlit days together. Leo and Lani prepare their den with excitement and love, while Luna's cubs learn why the new baby won't be theirs to keep - but will always be someone they can care about.
When baby Lyra is finally born, the Savannah glows with joy. The families celebrate her long-awaited arrival, honouring the kindness, love, and friendship that made her journey possible. And so begins a lifelong bond between two lion families, united by Luna's promise and a dream come true.
Filled with gentle explanations, emotional warmth, and magical imagery, Luna's Promise is perfect for children learning about surrogacy and for surrogates or intended parents who are explaining the process to their children.
A story of love, friendship, kindness, alternative families and the belief that families are made not only by birth, but by care, compassion, and dreams that come true.
More than just a story - An age appropriate question and answer section is included at the back. This is to help guide surrogates when having coversations with their own children and can be used as reference point to help answer some of those unexpected questions. Also in
