Chanell Smith, MSW, is an only child by marriage. While she has formed five sibling connections with some of the best people in the world, who loves her as if she was their blood sibling. Her parents were a military couple, and her father was a Vietnam Vet and relocated after Chanell's birth back to the East Coast. Chanell lived there for seven years until her parents separated. Her mother moved across the U.S. to California after she was so unhappy for not being able to see her father, grandmother and paternal aunt. Chanell's parents agreed to send her back to the East Coast for three months during the summer. Chanell's best experience for nearly ten years was during Summertime.
