This work is being carried out at ESAK as part of the legume laboratory's research activities. The study revealed the behaviour of two bean varieties under the climatic and soil conditions of the Kef region. A major constraint to bean cultivation was identified. This is the absence of Rhizobium phaseoli in the soil, which makes it essential to carry out artificial inoculation of the seeds.
