This is the story of how I went from being a divorced single parent living on welfare and wondering how I was going to pay my bills, to having plenty of money and living the life of my dreams.
One day, while I was still living on welfare, I was sitting with a pen and paper, trying to re-juggle my meagre income so that my young child and I could afford to eat AND pay the bills, when suddenly I realised I was looking at the numbers all wrong.
It was a huge Aha! moment. The answer to my lack-of-money problems was so easy and it was right there in those numbers. I didn't need more money. I just needed to adjust what I already had. I sat there stunned, wondering why I'd never seen this before. Everything suddenly became so clear. So simple.
I stayed up late that night, running all the numbers of what I'd thought was a tiny amount of income, but now I saw it differently.
By the time I went to bed that night I'd figured out that I wasn't broke just because I was receiving welfare payments. And, more importantly, it also gave me a financial plan for a way out of my current situation.
This moment changed my life, and in this book, I share it all with you so that you can do it too.
