A field experiment entitled Effect of potassium and sulphur on growth, yield and quality of summer pearl millet [Pennisetum glaucum (L.)] was conducted on medium black soil at the Instructional Farm, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh (Gujarat) during the summer season. Based on the one year experimental results, it was concluded that better crop yield with higher net return can be obtained from summer pearl millet (cv. GHB-538 ) by fertilizing the crop with 120 kg K2O ha-1 and 40 kg S ha-1 in the medium black calcareous soil of South Saurashtra Agro climatic zone of Gujarat.
