After much research, I realized there is not a single book on how to open a clinical private practice that did not have fluff. As a clinician you are given the tools needed to facilitate sessions but not how to run a successful business. This guide was written to be straightforward and concise based off personal experience while opening Ward Counseling in the state of Texas, as well as the guidance provided to other clinicians. Starting your own private practice has become simpler with technology; however this guide provides you with the initial starting steps, links to websites and the best way to get started!
