Credo - from the Latin credo, meaning I believe - is not merely a set of principles. It is a declaration, a personal manifesto, a body of convictions forged through pain, mistakes, love, disappointments, and the endurance required in building a worldview. It is the inner axis a person leans on when everything external collapses. No psychotherapist, trainer, coach, or even the wisest book, can hand you a perfect code of laws that will resonate with every fiber of your being and become truly yours. At best, they can only point the way, shed some light, or offer a hint. The path itself, however, you must walk alone.
I wrote this book not because I feel exceptional, but on the contrary, because I know all too well how easy it is to get lost - how imperceptibly you stop being yourself and turn into a social function: first a son, then a student, a husband, a manager, a citizen, a partner, a provider, a speaker - anyone, but yourself. You live, breathe, work, meet, discuss, plan. Yet, increasingly, you do it by script - by instruction, by someone else's template. And one day, almost by accident, you realize your inner voice has gone quiet. Too quiet. It's there, but it feels cowed, faint, faded - drowned out by other people's voices, formulas, rights, and shoulds. You look in the mirror and suddenly don't recognize your own gaze. It is weary - not from lack of sleep, but from living too long like a mechanism, playing a role. Without inner support. Without your own architecture. Without a living, personal why.
That is precisely where credo begins: with your own internal framework. You may be a lawyer, a programmer, an entrepreneur, a barista - it doesn't matter. If there is no clarity within, no personal system of coordinates, everything else loses its flavor. You will move, achieve, plan, yet still feel emptiness because no matter how much you build on the outside, if the inside is hollow, no fortress will save you.
Friends ask me: Why this book? What do you want to offer with it? And my answer is always simple: Nothing. I am not offering, I am sharing. This is not a sermon, not motivation, not a collection of polished formulas to make you feel upgraded. It is not about external efficiency - it is about inner clarity, about the axis around which your life revolves. I am not playing the guru, building a cult, or gathering followers. I don't need your approval. I need only one thing: for you, too, to feel that you have the right to your own inner foundation - not copied, not borrowed, not dictated by society, but forged, endured, born out of pain, insight, failure, choice, and authenticity.
Because in a world where boundaries blur, where noise drowns out meaning, and where information floods in from every direction, the only way to remain alive and steady is to build within yourself a pillar that does not bend under pressure.
This book contains twelve principles - my principles. Like the twelve months of the year, the zodiac signs, like the disciples of Christ. That's how it unfolded. Twelve life rules distilled through experience, through honest inner reckonings. Today I live by them. Not because I must, but because without them, I fall apart.
Perhaps with time there will be more - life never offers final formulas. It moves, teaches, collides, and reveals. But for now, there are twelve. I share them with you not as answers or standards, but as reference points, so you may look within and begin to formulate your own laws. Yours may be entirely different. Some of mine may resonate; some may not. That doesn't matter. What matters is that they are yours. That one day, you can say: This is my code. I live by it.
