Many events can happen to change your life. No matter how prepared you are for the inevitable, the unexpected challenges can be overwhelming. This is my story. It has been nine months since my husband died. The stages of grief helped the logical side of me, but emotions aren't logical. Sadness, anger, fear, and depression have a way of shutting down the logical thought process causing difficulty when decisions must be made. This book includes the steps I have taken, must take, or wish I had taken, for emotions to heal or at least level off for me to face the days ahead. I hope my experiences through this traumatic time will be helpful to others in preparing for, and overcoming, the challenges ahead.
