Hamilton coreopsis) is an annual plant species of the genus Coreopsis in Asteraceae. This species typically grows 10 to 20 cm tall or sometimes taller when in bloom. The foliage is low growing, producing bright golden yellow colored flower heads and red purplish tinted peduncles. The foliage is deeply cut with a thin ferny shape. It can be found blooming from March to May in California, where it is endemic to the Diablo Range in the San Francisco Bay Area. Plants are found growing from 600 to 1300 meters above sea level.
