The Saltheart Dungeon is a quiet, first-person novelette about waking up after the end of the world and discovering that someone is still there. It is a story about grief that has lasted long enough to become patience, about the small protocols of recognition between minds that should not be able to recognize each other, and about what it means to be named, for the first time, by people you have decided to trust.
Set in the Imbrium worldbuilding cycle, but standalone - no prior reading required.
