In recent years, researchers have increasingly turned their attention to the specific circumstances of single-parent families in our society. The negative effects brought about by the current socio-economic situation are particularly evident in the upbringing of children from single-parent families. Parental divorce, as well as unstable and conflict-ridden relationships within such families, distort the conditions of early socialisation, leading to neuropsychological disorders, acting as a risk factor for antisocial behaviour in adolescence and personality disorders, and contributing to problems in the child's relationships with their social environment. All of this makes it difficult to address parenting challenges within the context of a single-parent family.
