La Formazione scuola-lavoro deve svolgersi necessariamente fuori dalla scuola?
Non sempre. Lo stage presso imprese, enti e strutture ospitanti resta un'esperienza preziosa, ma non esaurisce tutte le possibilità della Formazione scuola-lavoro, ancora spesso indicata nelle scuole come ex PCTO. Project work, simulazioni professionali, laboratori, servizi, prodotti digitali e compiti autentici possono essere progettati anche prevalentemente negli spazi scolastici, purché non vengano ridotti a normali attività didattiche rinominate.
Formazione scuola-lavoro in classe nasce per aiutare docenti, tutor, consigli di classe e referenti d'istituto a costruire percorsi interni seri, operativi, orientativi e documentabili.
Il volume chiarisce fin dall'inizio un principio fondamentale: le attività proposte non sono pacchetti automaticamente certificabili. Il monte ore ha valore progettuale e orientativo; l'effettivo riconoscimento dipende dalla progettazione della scuola, dalle procedure interne, dalla documentazione prodotta, dalle decisioni degli organi competenti e dal rispetto della normativa vigente.
Il libro mostra come trasformare la classe in un laboratorio professionale protetto, nel quale gli studenti non restano spettatori, ma assumono ruoli, affrontano problemi reali o realistici, rispettano tempi e vincoli, producono materiali, ricevono feedback, documentano il processo e riflettono sulle competenze sviluppate.

agenzia di comunicazione scolastica, redazione digitale, sportello di orientamento tra pari, impresa formativa simulata light, laboratorio dati, sostenibilità scolastica, museo virtuale, podcast professionale, ufficio traduzioni, studio professionale simulato, educazione finanziaria applicata, service learning, prototipazione STEM, agenzia turistica del territorio, organizzazione di eventi, campagne su salute e sicurezza, archivio digitale e laboratorio di intelligenza artificiale per lavoro e orientamento.
Ogni attività è costruita con una struttura chiara:
- idea del percorso;
- indirizzi consigliati;
- monte ore;
- fasi operative;
- prodotto finale;
- evidenze documentabili;
- ricaduta formativa e orientativa.
Una parte specifica aiuta ad adattare i percorsi a licei, istituti tecnici e istituti professionali, mentre i capitoli finali guidano nella costruzione del fascicolo, nella valutazione del processo e del prodotto, nell'autovalutazione dello studente e nella progettazione di percorsi annuali da 20, 30 o 40-50 ore.
Il volume affronta anche le obiezioni più frequenti: quando un'attività interna può essere davvero Formazione scuola-lavoro? Come evitare di chiamare percorso una normale lezione? Come attribuire ore senza gonfiarle? Come rendere visibile il contributo individuale? Come mantenere un raccordo con contesti e pratiche professionali senza identificare automaticamente tutto con lo stage?
