COMPITI DI REALTÀ IN FISICA è un manuale operativo per docenti della scuola secondaria che vogliono trasformare la fisica da semplice applicazione di formule a strumento per osservare, misurare, modellizzare e interpretare fenomeni reali.
Il volume nasce da un'idea precisa: la fisica non comincia dalla formula, ma da qualcosa che accade. Una bicicletta che frena, una lampadina che consuma energia, una stanza che si raffredda, un circuito che si surriscalda, un suono che attraversa un ambiente, una finestra che disperde calore, un oggetto che galleggia, una superficie che riflette la luce. Prima del calcolo c'è sempre un fenomeno da comprendere.
Il libro accompagna il docente nella progettazione di compiti di realtà autentici, sostenibili e valutabili, nei quali gli studenti non si limitano a trovare un numero finale, ma imparano a riconoscere grandezze, raccogliere dati, scegliere modelli, usare unità di misura, controllare la plausibilità dei risultati e comunicare conclusioni fondate.
Non si tratta di abbellire gli esercizi con storie artificiali, né di proporre attività genericamente creative. Il compito di realtà in fisica deve avere un nucleo disciplinare chiaro: moto, energia, calore, elettricità , luce, suono, pressione, materiali, sicurezza, ambiente, consumi, sostenibilità . La fisica deve essere necessaria per affrontare la situazione.
Il volume offre un percorso completo:
- criteri per distinguere esercizio, problema, esperimento e compito di realtà ;
- anatomia di un buon compito autentico di fisica;
- uso dello storytelling scientifico per dare scopo a fenomeni, dati e modelli;
- attività basate su misure, grafici, dati reali, stime e ordini di grandezza;
- collegamenti con educazione civica: energia, ambiente, sicurezza, rumore, comfort termico, rischio elettrico;
- esempi tratti dalla vita quotidiana: biciclette, ascensori, smartphone, lampadine, finestre, caricabatterie, strumenti musicali;
- criteri e rubriche per valutare processo, prodotto, dati, calcoli, interpretazione e comunicazione;
- UDA complete per secondaria di I grado, biennio e triennio;
- strategie inclusive per BES, DSA, difficoltà linguistiche, difficoltà attentive e studenti ad alto potenziale;
- uso dell'intelligenza artificiale come supporto alla progettazione, senza delegare il controllo scientifico;
- appendici operative con schede modello, rubriche, checklist, idee rapide, prompt IA, scheda studente e scheda docente.
Uno dei punti di forza del libro è l'attenzione alla valutazione. Nei compiti di realtà in fisica non basta verificare se il risultato numerico è corretto. Occorre osservare il ragionamento: come lo studente interpreta il fenomeno, come seleziona le grandezze, come organizza i dati, come usa il modello, come controlla le unità e come argomenta le conclusioni.
Il volume è pensato per docenti che vogliono proporre una fisica più concreta, rigorosa e significativa, senza rinunciare alla formalizzazione. Le formule restano centrali, ma vengono rimesse al loro posto: non come punto di partenza cieco, ma come strumenti per comprendere la realtà .
Un manuale pratico, strutturato e direttamente spendibile per progettare lezioni, compiti autentici, UDA, prove per competenze, attività inclusive e percorsi interdisciplinari nella scuola secondaria.
