This study examines the psychological characteristics of aggression as a stable personality trait, its content, structure, and the individual psychological specifics of its manifestations. The composition of qualitative indicators of aggression is analyzed and described, including emotional, cognitive, behavioral, motivational, and control-regulatory components. A typology of aggression has been developed, based on a specific qualitative-quantitative combination of these indicators of aggression. It has been established that aggression is linked to such personality traits as empathy, locus of control, emotionality, and others. It has been determined that emotionality acts as a system-forming factor regarding the individual specificity of aggression. The results indicate that a specific combination of these components (indicators) of aggression characterizes a type of aggression distinguished by its qualitative uniqueness. It has been demonstrated that individuals with different types of emotionality exhibit specific individual-psychological characteristics of aggression.
