This guidebook is both a training manual and a proven treatment sequence to assist in the healing of adults who were traumatized as a child. The core of this program utilizes the survivor's ability to visualize traumatic events and then answer several key questions about what was observed to include what the impact was from being traumatized. The sequence includes a guide for forgiving the offender or offenders and the survivor gets to re-write the memories. A final segment leads the survivor into how to take the new learnings into one's future. The accompanying materials needed to deliver the program are included.
I was pleasantly impressed with Dr. Butler's insight and experience in developing an effective treatment program for clients who have been traumatized through past events.
