In How I Got Over: Stories of Faith and Courage in the Face of Adversity you will meet five people who have endured significant trials and made it to the other side. You will meet a special needs mom who was forced to deliver prematurely at 26 weeks. Her daughter was born with significant developmental delays. We meet a woman grieving the loss of her grandmother to the point that she was propelled into a life of drug abuse. As a user of crack cocaine, she neglected everything that was important to her including her children in pursuit of her next high. We meet a man who lived his life on the streets for many years until the Lord found him. He did drugs, sold drugs, robbed people, and lived a life of crime. How did he get over? How did the Lord redeem him? We meet a lady struggling with recovery from the amputation of her leg three years ago. She is in constant pain and lives her life in a wheelchair. Lastly, we meet a mother who experienced three deaths in one year - her infant daughter, her brother, and her marriage. These are real stories from real people just like you. They faced adversity and yet somehow, they overcame. They lived to tell the story in How I Got Over. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37
