Born in 1965 to an alcoholic, single mother, to this day the author Brenda Secor still at times struggles with memories of her past -- a past that includes abusive parents / foster parents, child predators, unsympathetic peers, and one particular vicious, psychopathic live-in partner. Brenda realizes that for the sake of her own daughter's future the cycle must be broken. A new path must be chosen - a path that may not have been realized without 'Finding Jane'. In this book Brenda shares the horror of her past with an openness and frankness that is rarely articulated by child abuse victims.
