Bette Johnna Johnsy Raines was a typical middle school girl whose parents were well-to-do. On a family vacation to Philadelphia, Johnsy's life was tragically changed when she witnessed the murder of her parents by carjackers.
Taken in by her only relatives, Johnsy was filled with anger and guilt. By the advice of her uncle, Johnsy went out for the girls' wrestling team, a physical outlet for her frustrations. To Johnsy's surprise, she later learns of her very unique and amazing ability as a sharpshooter.

Over the years, Johnsy emotionally struggles with guilt over her parents' murders. Furthermore, she always knew the perpetrators. And with her exceptional marksman skills, it was time for retribution.

About the Author
An award-winning educator and one of the country's foremost authorities on Folkstyle wrestling, Dr. Bill Welker has published a national best-seller, The Wrestling Drill Book, a DVD, and hundreds of articles on the mat sport since 1974.
Most recently, his memoirs, The Sparrow's Spirit, and his first novel, A Wrestler's Curse, were declared winners in the sports category by the Beverly Hills Book Awards judges. All his books can be purchased on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
A former Pennsylvania State Champion and Finalist, Welker is a member of five wrestling halls of fame, including the Pennsylvania Wrestling Hall of Fame, the National Wrestling Hall of Fame (West Virginia Chapter), and the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference Hall of Fame. He has been selected twice as the National Wrestling Sportswriter of the Year by Wrestling USA Magazine.
