After serving in the Air Force for 7 years, April decided to pursue her passion for cooking and baking. In 2007, she started Toffee Creations in her own home, experimenting with different flavors and creating what she calls Naked Toffee. The toffee was such a hit among her friends, family, and the community, that she knew she had created something special.
After closing her candy shop in 2014, she and the family moved to California and temporarily closed Toffee Creations.
In 2023, after a nine-year hiatus, she felt that entrepreneurial pull to bring Toffee Creations back to life, but this time, as a home food business and not a candy shop. After her last child went to preschool, she knew it was the right time. Toffee Creations has toffee flavors for dietary needs such as gluten-free, nut-free, vegan, and even one for morning sickness!
