With the continuous growth of marine resource exploitation, maritime traffic management, and national security demands, radar-based maritime target detection technology has become an essential component of modern coastal defense systems and marine monitoring networks. Compared with optical and sonar detection methods, radar systems possess all-day and all-weather operational capabilities, enabling long-range early warning and high-precision tracking of weak targets such as surface vessels, low-altitude aircraft, and periscopes. Therefore, research on radar-based maritime target detection technologies is of great practical significance for enhancing maritime surveillance capability and safeguarding national maritime interests.
