Behavioral threat management is the discipline of identifying people who may be moving toward targeted violence, assessing the concern they present, and managing that concern downward over time. It is not prediction, not profiling, and not discipline by another name - and the organizations that confuse it with those things are the ones that miss the case in front of them.
